I want to jump out of my skin.
I want to get in a fight.
I want to block a swing
and punch a throat.
I want to save a life.
I want to take a bullet
And kill the shooter.
I want to climb a mountain
And jump off of a building.
I want to speed and wreck my car
I want to be a hero.
Nothing happens in my life.
And my mind is full
Of what could happen.
I want to die
In the most extravagant way possible.
I just don’t want to live
A boring life.
i'm 39 and i've had adventure in my life, but it seems so long ago. now i'm worried about growing old in a gray cubicle next to a window.
