There is something amazing
About throwing your clothes into a bag
And taking off.
Just hitting the road
And never looking back.
I often wish I could live
A life of roadtrips.
One after another.
Visiting friends,
Exploring new cities,
Or parks.
Top down,
Doors off.
Just sailing down the highway
Listening to all the songs
I love.
The open road
Can be so calming.
Not like the office
You leave behind.
No thoughts of work
No thoughts of tomorrow.
No thoughts even
Of gas mileage.
i roadtrip to austin at least once a month to spend time with my good friend russ and terry. its the healthiest thing i do for myself.
